Hi I'm Back Again..................

This time I have a few cards I've finally finished cropping etc in order to upload here.  All the sheets and the Art Deco card kit were as is often the norm purchased from CraftsuPrint.  I hope you enjoy looking and I also hope you like what you see...........

Another Silhouette Card..............

Hi hope you all had a lovely Easter......I've not posted in quite a while...just over a month to be exact...tut tut...but I'm back now with a 'tent' card I made recently...hope you like....!!  Again it's black and white...just love that colour combination..........

The tent card file was purchased from Instant Card Making Downloads...the Silhouette of the lady's head was a free download from annwlynn at UKScrappers I believe and the corners were from a file from Krewella Kreations.   I used a black organza bow to embellish the card and some stick on gems...it's just my opinion but I don't think the card really needs anything more added to it...well apart from a sentiment that is but that will come at a later date, at the moment it's in my stash box for future use.

Well its been a bit of a fleeting visit after my long absence but my lunch is calling me lol...I'll be back soon with some more cards to show......until then thank you for calling by....take care...!!

 

I Just Love This Image.............

Hi here's another card with yet another image I coloured during my Promarker colourthon...I don't think that's a proper word but I like the sound of it....LOL

The image is a Sugar Nellie digi stamp coloured as I said with Promarkers and then attached to a small doily which was in turn attached to a mat of purple mirror card and a piece of digi scrapbook paper. The corners were a free file shared by Iris (Riverlandlass) over at Silhouette Plus...the sentiment was also a cutting file but at this time I cannot remember who from...sorry...I then added small purple gems and a bow to complete the card.  Pretty unusual for me but I'm quite pleased with the end result...hope you like too.........

Birthday Card..........

Good evening all I've yet another birthday card using one of the images I coloured the other week and also a favourite of mine.  The image is a Sugar Nellie digi stamp and as I say its one of my favourites...just love it...! For the card the image was coloured with Promarkers...two pieces of  paper from Divine Digital's current DAD was used for the background....I added two of Birds flower borders and a birthday sentiment from a file from UKS then added a gingham ribbon..gold hot fix nail heads for the centre of each flower and small stick-on pearls to finish. Hope you enjoy looking and hope you like.........

Lilac Lady............

Here's a quick card for you...and it's also going to be a quick post too I'm afraid but had to pop on and show that I haven't come to a complete standstill with my crafting....lol.....made this card last night...hope you like............

  The P & C file was cut with my Silhouette Cameo...I layered the main image using black card and a piece of lilac glitter paper then attached it to an A5 white linen card...the sentiment and decoupage parts were assembled using foam pads and to finish off  the card I added black peel-off corners and black stick-on pearls. The file's from Craftsuprint and was designed by Joanna Swinton.

Something Just A Little Bit Different..............

Not a card this time for my "main show and tell"......but later in the post I'm going to be showing the "updated" version of Laila's  birthday card that I included in my last post...I've just added a little something more to it and I like it much better........
So to my first upload...it's a lovely heart shaped box made from a cutting file designed by Debbie - Paper Pulse Blog Spot - but I'm afraid my photos don't do it the justice it deserves. Pop over and visit Debbie you'll just love her blog I assure you.
Apart from using black and white card to cut the file I embellished the box with stick-on pearls that I re-coloured with a Promarker and then added a flower from Wild Orchid Crafts and a bead string I had in my stash.
Ooops...had to come back to edit this post because I forgot to state the daisy border was from Birds Cards...just put it down to a senior moment....LOL
Anyways back to the heart shaped box I'm uploading three shots of it so you can see it a bit better.........hope you like........

And lastly the updated photo of Laila's birthday card......the balloon is from Debbie too....

Time for me to say my goodbyes for now..I have to go and set up my new computer.....it has Windows 8 and I'm hoping I can get on with it.  I've heard good and bad things concerning W8...just hope I end up in the good things category....LOL

Card...1st Birthday..............

Hi...hope you're having a great weekend...just popped on to upload and show you the card made for my granddaughter's first birthday coming up in three weeks.  I really can't believe a year has gone by already since our lovely Laila was born...it's passed so quickly....!!  I hope you like the card...all that's left for me to do is find a suitable verse for it........

The card base and layers plus teddy bear were from a file by Lyn Simms at Craftsuprint...I cut the name using my Cameo...assembled all parts using 1mm foam pads and embellished the card with small pink stick-on pearls in the centres of the cut-out flowers..googly eyes and a bow for the teddy bear...and I stress the googly eyes are securely attached...not that Laila's mummy is going to let her play with the card....LOL
